ENTREPRENEUR RACES 400 MILES ACROSS BAJA FOR FUN,
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PHILANTHROPY…

Rainmaker Ad Ventures founder, Drew Kossoff, traveled to Baja, Mexico with 24 like-minded entrepreneurs, including West Coast Choppers founder Jesse James and Dallas Cowboy star Darren Woodson,  to enjoy dare-devil activities while swapping business strategies and sharing start-up advice with the local students.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRLEAP) February 14th, 2008— In response to a frightening personal health incident in 2007 which left him hospitalized for five days, internet entrepreneur Drew Kossoff, made a personal decision to shift his focus away from all projects that were distracting him from making a difference in the world and enjoying the ultimate personal freedoms that a work at home lifestyle offers.  Naturally, Kossoff jumped at the opportunity to participate in a brand new adventure travel club for entrepreneurs which includes a meaningful philanthropic component. 

Dubbed “Maverick Business Adventures” by its founder, Yanik Silver, the inaugural experience included driving $90,000 high tech dune buggies nearly 100 mph through Mexico’s Baja Peninsula along with daily masterminding sessions where the entrepreneurs shared their business insights and success strategies and also discussed their major challenges. Between sessions, Kossoff and others had exclusive access to activities that included surfing one of the longest waves in the world at Scorpian Bay, whale watching in San Ignacio as well as enjoying a private charted plane ride over Baja.

“This definitely goes on my list of Top 10 personal experiences” remarked Kossoff, who was pleasantly surprised by the high caliber of attendees who were short on egos and long a desire to make a difference.  “I was thrilled to be among such an inspiring, thoughtful and supportive group of fellow entrepreneurs.  For me, it was proof that the upside of success is not only financial freedom, but personal happiness and the willingness to share and give back.”

As if the daring dune buggy racing and business bantering weren’t enough, the group also had a one-of-a-kind opportunity to hear insights about branding and licensing from Jesse James: founder of the $200 million “West Coast Choppers” motorcycle and t-shirt empire (and husband of A-list actress, Sandra Bullock).  They also enjoyed watching the super bowl with former Dallas Cowboys star and ESPN, NFL Live host Darren Woodson and listening to his insights on success, competition and teamwork.

The most inspiring part of the trip, however, was the opportunity for the group to “give back” by sharing their personal success stories and advice with a group of 20 local Mexican college students who were eager to hear words of wisdom from these entrepreneurs.  The session was so powerful and moving, it ended with one entrepreneur offering a $10,000 donation to one of the local schools in Cabo. 

Honored and inspired by his “maverick” experience, Kossoff looks forward to integrating lessons learned from this adventure into his future business endeavors.  This spring, Kossoff will launch “The Unfair Millionaire,” (www.TheUnfairMillionare.com) an entertaining and empowering business start-up guide for aspiring internet entrepreneurs. 5% of the profits will be donated to meaningful charities.
